Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

A recent gathering in Madrid united community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.

Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when rooted in respect for human rights.
